English - Dutch
Hello - Hallo (polighter)
Hello - Hoi (youth says: hey or ey!)

How are you? - Hoe gaat het? (how goes it?)
Im doing fine! - Met mij gaat het goed (with me it goes ok)
Im bored - Ik verveel me (I bore me/myself)
And how are you today? - Hoe gaat het met jou vandaag? (how does it go with you today?)
Im not feeling that well - Ik voel me niet zo goed (somewhat the same...)

The verb to come:

I come - ik kom
infinitive: komen
I came - ik kwam
Get here! - Kom hier!

its not just i come, its also im coming


so
-i come/ i'm coming = ik kom

"I'm coming" means that you are in the action of movement bish <3

"I will come" for example means that you have the intention to come/show up, but not aren't moving yet towards your goal.

You can't say "I come" in English... that's the problem... All those stupid tenses! </3

yeah but when i say in dutch: ik kom... in english i would also translate that as, im coming...

and if i say: i will come translated to dutch that is= ik zal komen/ik kom eraan...

sooo i'm coming= ik kom

i win period ...

Nu uh, since you forgot to explain the tenses!

"Im coming" is like "ik kom" in Dutch, though the meaning is the same, the tenses used aren't!

why explain the tenses ?? im not prolar like you... i just wanna win
